Supply Chain Development
The effective management and development of supply chains is vital for any operation whether it is to ensure the smooth operation of production or during new product development.
All accreditation bodies require companies to have an effective system for evaluating new/potential suppliers and to monitor the performance of existing suppliers. AMAP deliver the Alliance New Product Quality Procedure (ANPQP) on behalf of Nissan in Europe and have trained over 600 supplier companies members in these procedures designed to manage the complex business of developing a new product in the automotive sector.
In addition, AMAP are able to deliver more generic New Product Quality Procedures (NPQP) and AMAP’s experience of working in the supply chains of major multi-national companies has helped them to develop a range of useful interventions designed to assist all organisations to improve their supply chains.
Supplier evaluation and monitoring begins with understanding your company’s requirements from your suppliers. Once a set of realistic standards have been set, and the means of achieving and measuring these have been established, AMAP can assist your organisation to put robust procedures in place that will help to maintain and improve standards.
